Abstract

Drug granules coated with 10% solution in acetone were evaluated for mosisuter absorption and disssolution studies at various pH levels. Rosin film resists acidic pH excellently releasing less than 10% drug in 3 h. A quick drug release is obtained at pH 7.2. The findings suggest that rosin can be considered as an enteric coating material.

Keywords
