Abstract

lnitial rates of the three primary reactions of acetylene hydropolymerization over palladium catalyst. viz - Conversions of acetylene to ethylene, butadiene and oil, hape been determined by extralpolation from the once-through conversion data obtained at various space velocities. Based on these initial rate data, initial rate equations have been derived .Values of activation energies and frequency factors for the three primary reactions have been calculated from the respective equations for initial rare.
