Abstract


The effect of some substrats, respiratory inhibiors and streptomycin on the oxygen conplion of mycobactrrium incticola On is studied using the warburg maometric technique It is found that sodiam lactate, sodiam pyruvate and sodian acetatc increase the oxygen consumption to a considerable extent, while sodiam azide, potassium cyanide and streptomyein inhibit the oxygen consumaption considerably.
