STUDIES IN COSMIC RADIO NOISE AT BANGALORE Some Special Features

Abstract

A brief description of the different techniques now being employed at Bangalore for conducting a radio survey of the sky at 28.6 Mc/s and 62 Mc/s and far making observations on the disturbed sun at these frequencies is given. Some special features noticed during the work and relating to the ionosphere, the brightness temperatures at the frequencies employed and solar radio emission are indicated in the paper.
