ESSENTIAL OIL FROM THE LEAVES OF "ANNONA SQUAMOSA LINN"

Abstract


The essential oil from the leaves of Aimona squamosa Linn. has been shown to consist of u-pinene (7%); one unidentified monocyclic terpene (4%); beta;-caryophyllene (50%) and two bicyclic sesquiterpene hydrocarbons giving cadaiene on dehydrogenation (5.0% each).
