Agar Electrophoresis Part III- ANIMAL HEMOGLOBIN

Abstract

The blood Hemolysates from some of the commaon animal species have been studied by the agar eletrophorisis  method.

Of the 12 species examined ,buffello blood indicated the presence of two components.there is considarable variation in the  eletrophoretic mobilities of the hemoglobin of the different animals, the hemoglobin of the horse having the highest and that of the camel, the lowest mobility.

The results are discussed in the light of the findings of the workers in the field.
