Influence of humidity on feed utilization by the silkworm Bombayx mori l

Abstract

Digestibility and conversion efficiency data recorded for the silkworrns reared under fully humid and normal atmospheric conditions of humidity have been presented. Saturating the rearing atmosphere with water vapour has oeen shown to be advantageous to the larval growth as well as for minimising the wastage in the valuable mulberry diet.
