PROPAGATION OF Eo WAVE IN MODULATED ARTIFICIAL DIELECTRIC MEDIA

Abstract


The problem of propagation of Eo wave guided by a circular cylindrical nonuniformly corrugated metallic structure which is considered as an artificial dielectric medium having co-sinusoidal dielectric constant profile in the direction of propagation has been formulated in the form of Hill's equation which has been solved for the phase constant as a function of the parameters of the  corrugated structure.
