Contributions to the chemistry of phosphazenes-II

Abstract


In this paper we review our findings on the thermal rearrangement of some methoxycyelophosphazenes; the tautomerit behaviour of various monohydroxy compounds; the synthesis of triphenylphosphazenyland spirocyclic phosphazenes; the reactions of oetachlorocyclotetraphosphazene with primary and spirocyclic/ amines to give chloro(amino)cyclotetraphosphazenes and bicyclic phosphazenes ; and the preparation and characteristion of chloro(phenoxy)eyelotetraphosphazenes and metal complexes(aminocyclophosphazenes). Structural elucidation of the products of these reactions by NMR gettospcopy is highlighted. Results of kinetic studies are also described.
