A peak poor and energy monitor for pulsed lasers
Abstract
The details of design and fabrication of an instrument for monitoring the peak power and energy of faced lasers has been given here. It incorporates a peak detector, for sensing the peak power ofter pulses (duration >-100), an integrator for detecting energy of pulses (duration nagation 10 ns) andtwo sample and bold stages for retaining the signal for long periods with negligible droop (50 mVfor a 10v signal in 10 secs). The important features of the instrument are: it can be fabricated easily, is inexpensive and can operate independently without the need for high speed storage instru-MIS lie oscilloscope, etc.
