Abstract

A preparative paper chromatographic method for the separation and isolation of large quantities of substances is described.The technique is developed to overcome one of the disadvantages of paper chromatography, namely the difficulty of separating components from a mixture in quantities large enough to perform additional tests and to prepare characteristic derivatives for confirming the identity of components.
