Curing kinetics of epoxy resin using quaternary ammonium guar gums as catalyst
Abstract
Various quaternary ammonium compounds of guar gum (QAGG) have been synthesised and used as catalysts for curing reactions of epoxy resin. The detailed kinetics of the curing reactions of the system digiycidyl ether of bis-phenol A (DGEBA)/phthalic anhydride (PA) have been studied using a selected catalyst.
