The moult process in Bufo Melanostictus (Schn.) (Anura; Bufonidae)
Abstract
The process of melting in the common Indian toad, bufo melanostrus has been described staging of the moulting cycle, which occurs once in 5 to 6 days, has been done based on the behaviour of the toads and visual morphology of the skin. These stages have been compared with those of a temperate species.
