Groundwater Resources under a Changing Climate

Abstract

The effect of changing climate on surface water resources has been studied extensively over the past few decades. However, studies related to the effect on groundwater are relatively few, probably because the effect is neither direct nor simple. This review summarizes the current status, looks at possible mitigation and adaptation strategies, and suggests future direction of research in this area.
