Abstract


The removal of fluorine by raw bone-meal ,purified bone-meal and calsium phospate has been studied.It is shown that the removal of flourine by raw bone-meal ,purified bone-mael and calsium phospate takes place in the manner of Freundlich absorption isotherm.The absorption of flourine is shown to be ionic,involving the exchange of flouride with the already absorbed anions like hydroxide,carbonate and phospate of these substances.
