Abstract

Theoretical investigation on the surface wave characteristics of a lossless, dielectric-coated conductor embedded in an infinitely extended lossless- anisotropic dielectric medium show that as the ratio of the axial dielectric constant (ez) to the radial dielectric constant (Ep) is increased, the Surface wave tends to become more strongly bound.
