Abstract


Luthum, sodium and potrssum sals present in a mixture have been separated and the individual alkarmetals identified, with different solventes using the tecbniqne of cncular paper chromatography. A mixture of ethyl and methyl alcohols mequal ProPorimus WBS fouud to be a better rugaliiig solvent lor dean and alrarp separalmn of the alkalr metals than any one of them.
