Design of a Fischer Tropsch Synthesis Pilot Plant

Abstract

The design and the construstion of a Fischer Tropsch synthesis  Pilot Plant are given the plant consists of gas purification units,gas cracking units (Nickel catalyst reactor ) and the sysnthasis reactor. The sysnthasis gas is prepared by converting kerosine -Cracked gas by reacting it with steam at high temparatures over nickel catalyst, the details of design calculations are shown .The plant is being tested at present and will go shortly go in to operation.
