TORSIONAL OSCILLATIONS OF A DISK IN A VISCOUS FLUID
Abstract
The flow due to the torsional oscillations ofa disk in an unbounded viscous fluid has been investigated by reducing the problem to a set of dual integral equation. A formal solution of these equations is obtained by a method of successive approximation. An expression for the torque on the disk is calculated.
