Influence of testis-specific proteins on chromosome behaviour during mammalian spermatogeneis
Abstract
Several new testes-specific nuclear proteins are expressed at different stages of mammalian germ cell development and differentiation. Our laboratory has been interested over the last several years in studying DNA-protein interactions to gain an insight into their possible biological functions. This review summarizes our recent findings.
Keywords
