ON THE DERIVATION OF THE COMPUTATIONAL FORMULAE OF THE ORTHGONALIZAION METHOD OF INVERSION INCLUDING EXPERIMENTS ON NEAR SINGULAR MATRICES AND ON THE TRANSFORMATION OF 2-D ARRAY TO 1-D ARRAY
Abstract
Formulae for an automatic computation of the inversion of matrix by an orthogonalization (4, 8) method, which is a more powerful form of Gram's orthonormalization process, have been derived. The main features of these formulae are the minimum storage demand with maximum automation. Numerical experiments have been carried out mainly on near-singular matrices with this computational procedure. A simple method for the transformation of two dimensional array to one dimensional array has also been included.
